For those who don’t know, Annie Mae’s Cheesecakes &
Moore was named after my grandmother who lost her
Battle with breast cancer in October 2004, during
breast cancer awareness month and 3 days before my
birthday. Like Annie Mae my great grandmother lost
her battle in 2001. To help me deal with their deaths,
I turned to Cancer Care for grief counseling and also
To educate myself about breast cancer.

Cancer Care is a great organization that offers free
services to anyone facing cancer, including
Counseling, Financial aid, education and practical
help.

I am now an advocate for breast cancer awareness
So on September 25th, my Mom’s birthday, who
Passed in 2006, We launched our Shoe Fly Cares
Collection. The collection includes a large cupcake
topped with a Pink Ribbon Ballerina Slipper with the
Pink Ribbon emblem, presented in a Pink Box. Each
Large cupcake and shoe is $6(as shown). We also
have Pink Ribbon Sprinkle Cupcakes(shown) which are
$35 a dozen. Proceeds from the sale of these items
Will go to Cancer Care in the name of Annie Mae
Moore.
